What is considered a taxable crypto event in Slovakia
Selling BTC or crypto with profits to € or other fiat currencies.
Selling cryptocurrency to another cryptocurrency, considering the nominal profit since the first acquisition.
Buying a coffee or any physical product or service also considers the nominal profit made since the initial acquisition of Bitcoin or other cryptocurrency.
All profits from staking or various forms of interests paid out in cryptocurrencies, coins or tokens.
How about business and corporate crypto taxes in the Slovak republic
Companies, both private and publicly traded corporations don’t have to pay the above-mentioned Health Tax. The capital gains tax applies (and other possible taxes in regards to their business).

Both capital gains tax and health insurance tax on Bitcoin and crypto profits are paid once a year. Usually by the end of March for the year prior. For instance, taxes on profits from 2023 are all reported by the end of March 2024, and paid in the days after that. In some cases, reporting and settlement of taxes can be later in the year. Multiple options and postponements are available, for instance for individuals and corporations with revenue from other countries.
